I have fond memories of the 4th of July as a child. My cousin’s birthday is that day and we would often be out in Connecticut visiting. As soon as it was dark we would all trek to the fireworks show where Lex was sure that all of the fuss was just for her and her birthday 🙂 Just a photo of us…a bit of a blast from the past 🙂
Happy 4th of July everyone! Stay safe 🙂
I have had 2 fantastic girlfriends in the area for the past 2 years and they are both moving. They finished their masters degrees and are heading to bigger and better things. I will miss you ladies! We had two years full of laughter, silliness, good food and drinks, serious talks, and fun 🙂 Thank you for everything! I will miss you both dearly <3
This post needed to start with the word, “Summer”…. I guess that’s because the heat just makes it inescapable! The temperatures makes it impossible to forget which season we’re in! 🙂 One great thing about summer though is the variety of fun, evening concerts. Brett got me into bluegrass music after he came back from our local library with as many bluegrass CDs as he could find, and proceeded to listen to them all constantly. (He’s learning to play the banjo by the way! Stay tuned for some updates on that soon 🙂 ) A friend was going to see someone play recently so I tagged along. The concert was in an old cotton mill turned artsy center with a space for live performances on the 2nd floor. Such a fun night!
Brett’s edited Paris pictures are up on Flickr! (It lets the pictures remain much higher resolution compared to if we uploaded them here like we have done in the past. Just click on the block of images below and you’ll be sent right there!) 🙂
We have decided that since we already had a mini-moon in Seattle right after the wedding, we will designate our Paris trip as our demi-moon…now we just have to figure out that actual honey-moon! haha!
